Fins Harness Intermountain Beauty at IHC

Vertical Fin projects are the full package... aesthetic appeal, maximum sun control capability and versatility. This flowing façade at the Intermountain Gardner Transformation Center creates an interior of continually filtered daylight with maximized visibility.

Project Scenario:
Our customer required a tight gap to the curtainwall system to achieve their seamless desired projection and optimal sun control. 14” Rectangular aluminum tube fins were notched for a concealed knife plate attachment. Machine screws with sex bolt combo truss heads secured the knife plate bracket to the mullion nose, achieving the “no show” final product. And for the finishing touch… low profile button head sex bolts left unfinished were used to achieve an industrial look.
