Springfield Community Business Center Garage - Springfield, VA

The Springfield Community Business Center has a new look we a so thankful to help bring to fruition. Not only do the vibrant colors and sense of movement create an eye-catching façade, but these perforated aluminum panels provide ventilation while screening unpleasant views. Another noteworthy feature on this project is the unusual attachment style.

Marksbury Library - Lexington, KY

The Marksbury Library in Lexington, KY features 20 feet tall AGS vertical perforated panels with a graduated hole pattern. Panels attach at varying angles along the façade creating a sense of movement while providing optimum sun control. Multiple angles were achieved with AGS custom welded curtainwall brackets.

Texas Medical Center – Houston, TX

What makes this AGS trellis so unique?...It’s a combination of features you wouldn't normally find on a standard outdoor system. This structure has spans reaching 11' wide, combined with large projections and 10' cantilevers. Additionally, extra-large arched profiles required mitered edges to create this radiused finished and installed product. An overall carefully engineered support system was required to create quite a remarkable outdoor space for visitors and staff. We're so pleased with the team effort on this one!

175 SW Temple - Salt Lake City, UT

The guys in the shop really did a “FIN-tastic” job on these perforated vertical panels, for the 175 SW Temple project. Fins range from 20’-25’ tall, and are mounted to AGS custom 2-1/2” aluminum square tube welded frames. All assemblies were fabricated “in house” for ease of installation and cost savings on the jobsite.

Mercedes Benz – House of Imports

Screening views while keeping an image of style and sophistication at Mercedes Benz - House of Imports inventory facility. Located in Buena Park, CA., this AGS project consists of 12” vertical aluminum airfoils installed at varying angles creating a screen/wave effect that is effective from any vantage point. But there’s more to it than just airfoils and automobiles … AGS worked hand in hand with the architect, back in the conceptual stage. We assisted with design and budget every step of the way. Our team was also able to address job site challenges on the fly by accommodating unexpected changes in field conditions.

400 N. Aberdeen - Chicago, IL

400 N. Aberdeen on Chicago’s west side features 16 floors of office and lab space with 2 floors dedicated to parking. AGS gladly provided the four color and various sized aluminum tubes - framing the entire parking deck façade. With a multitude of shapes & sizes to manage and assemble, the fabrication required a distinct tagging method for easy install to the framing system.

Will County Courthouse - Joliet, IL

Oversized fins on the new Will County Courthouse required large extrusions not readily available in the U.S. Despite this, the contractor felt strongly about simplifying the job and keeping everything American made… and that’s where AGS came into play.

Buell Theater Facade - Denver, CO

The bone white finish on these 2'X12" vertical tubes serves as a perfect backdrop for this vibrant lighting display. The facade already looks sharp during the day, but in the evening, a myriad of color is featured for a show-stopping, energizing effect.

The vertical fins segment of the project featured a “wave” effect which each piece varied in 5° increments.

Every angle, every size, and every quantity of our specially made airfoils had to be plotted out in as clear a fashion as possible.

Our horizontal aluminum sunshades utilize rectangular tubes to support perforated panels and a custom Bullnose Fascia to complete the striking visual profile.

Custom Aluminum Interior Screen consisting of 2” x 2” Square Aluminum Tube and 1” x 2” Rectangular Aluminum Tube frames with 1/8” thick custom pattern aluminum perforated panels with ½” round holes on an 11/16” staggered center pattern with alternating 1” and 2” borders.
